GOLAGHAT, Jan 20 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will attend the final of the Chief Minister�s Inter Tea Garden Football Tournament, to be held on January 22 at the Golaghat Stadium.
The final will see a face-off between Kokrajhar and Dibrugarh Zones. Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma; Minister for Agriculture, Atul Bora; Minister for Tea Tribes Welfare Pallab Lochan Das will also be present on the occasion.
Organised by Tea Tribe Welfare Department, the tournament was conceived as a means to promote an active sports culture among the Tea Tribes of the State, stated a DIPR release.
