CM�s call to enhance revenue generation

DIBRUGARH, July 5 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has asked all the revenue earning departments to increase their revenue generation capacity and also conduct scientific market study.

The Chief Minister was holding a review meeting with all the departmental heads of the district in the conference hall of the New Circuit House here yesterday evening. All the heads of the departments of the district were present in the meeting, a release stated.

Sonowal stressed upon clean and good governance and corruption-free government machinery. He urged all the officials to work hard with utmost dedication and sincerity to convert Assam into one of the leading States in the nation.

Chief Minister also said that the best office with clean premises will be awarded by the Government of Assam. The review meeting was also attended by local MP Rameshwar Teli and MLAs � Chakradhar Gogoi, Prasanta Phukan, Rituparna Baruah, Teres Goala, Bimal Borah and Binod Hazarika of Moran, Dibrugarh, Lahoal, Duliajan, Tingkhong and Chabua respectively, the release added.
