GUWAHATI, July 27 - The All Assam Goria Parishad has welcomed the announcement of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi regarding the formation of a Goria Development Council.
In a statement, the Parishad said that the indigenous Goria community had been enduring a number of problems for years and making representations before various authorities. �We hope that the formation of the proposed council would go a long way in addressing the problems faced by the Gorias,� it said.
