CM visits Chamaria Satra

MIRZA, June 18 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday visited the historic Chamaria Satra and laid the foundation stone of a boundary wall and other projects sanctioned by the government under a special fund for the year 2018-19. He also interacted with the Satradhikar and other bhakats of Chamaria Satra.

The Chief Minister later interacted with 14 families of Chamaria village and highlighted the programmes initiated by the BJP-led government in the state. He sought suggestions from the villagers on how to run the government for the benefit of the people.

The meeting was attended by Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Kailash Karthik N, Goalpara Deputy Commissioner and senior police officials of Kamrup district.
