Rawat campaigned for Congress candidate for Kokrajhar seat, Sabda Ram Rabha in Chirang district and the Congress candidate for Barpeta seat Abdul Khaleque in Bongaigaon district.

United Peoples Party Liberal (UPPL) candidate UG Brahma addressed a mammoth rally at Bijni in Chirang district today and expressed confidence of winning the Kokrajhar seat from where he has been projected as an AIUDF-UPPL alliance candidate supported by ABSU and NDFB (P).
