CM to visit Barak Valley on Sept 28

SILCHAR, Sept 22 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will visit Barak Valley to take part in the closing ceremony of Poshan Maah drive on September 28. This was informed by Cachar Deputy Commissioner Laya Madduri on Sunday.

�Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will take part in the closing ceremony of the Poshan Maah drive which has been observed across the state in sync with the rest of the country throughout the month of September. Also, the Chief Minister shall launch the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign here,� the DC informed. Sources informed that Sonowal will also visit Karimganj to review the pace of developmental works and to take stock of the preparations for the ensuing bypoll in Ratabari LAC on October 21.
