DIPHU, June 26 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal released a book titled, A Critical on the Working of the Sixth Schedule here recently during the 67th foundation day celebration of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
The book was written by Sekhar Engti, who is presently working as Additional Director, Information & Public Relations (DIPR) in Guwahati.
It may be mentioned here that Engti primarily focused on the need of awareness among the general public on conflict, formation and working on Hills Tribal Autonomous Council of North East India.
Engti is credited with publishing several books, like An Abridgement on Important Legal Issues, Basic Elements of News Story Writing and The Administration of Assam Hills Autonomous Districts etc.
