GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today met Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to the oil sector in the State.
According to official sources, Sonowal apprised Pradhan about the Baghjan situation and relief and rehabilitation of the affected people. He urged the Union Minister to ensure that adequate relief and rehabilitation package is offered to the people.
On the issue of controlling Baghjan well fire, Pradhan assured Sonowal that necessary steps would be taken at the earliest.
