GUWAHATI, Nov 6 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launched a website of Sri Sri Anirudhadeva Sports University in a programme held at his official residence here today.
While launching the website, Sonowal said the sports university has made a good beginning and would be successful in promoting sports as well as sports related activities in the State.
He hoped that the university would be able to develop competitive and scientific environment for growth of sports in Assam.
He further observed that taking forward the values and ideologies of Sri Sri Anirudhadeva, the university would move ahead with sincerity and futuristic activities.
Vice Chancellor of the university JP Verma, registrar Sanjay Dutta, executive member Dr Paramananda Sonowal, Niranjan Saikia, Prof MN Dutta, etc, were present among others at the launch.
