GUWAHATI, April 20 - Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi felicitated Priyadarshini Chatterjee who was crowned Femina Miss India World 2016, at his official residence at Khanapara on Tuesday evening. Priyadarshini, accompanied by her parents Papia Chatterjee and Prabir Chatterjee, dropped in at the Chief Minister�s residence and talked to him on her journey towards becoming Miss India.
Pursuing her under-graduate course in sociology at Hindu College, Delhi, Priyadarshini in course of her interaction informed the Chief Minister that she is interested working in the field of child education through promotion of cultural activities.
Gogoi praised her skills and said she has made the State proud with her talent, intelligence, poise and elegance. His wife Dolly Gogoi was also present on the occasion.
