NORTH LAKHIMPUR, Oct 21 - A cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Mission was conducted on Sunday at Durga Puja immersion ghat on the banks of Ranganadi river in North Lakhimpur.
The cleanliness drive was inaugurated by Dr Jeevan B, Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur and was part icipated by nine NGOs including the AASU, AJYCP, Hindu Yuva Parishad, Marwari Yuva Manch, Lakhimpur Mahila Prativa Bikhah Kendra, Kalyani Mahila Samaj, Team Humanity, Amar Sapun, Seujia Lakhimpur etc. The cleanliness drive was also attended by ADC Dipankar Das, Debasis Goswami, Executive Officer NLMB, Samiron Kowanar, Chairman, NLMB and several others.
