GUWAHATI, Dec 3 - Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Frontier Headquarters Guwahati is organising a Swachha Bharat Abhiyan from December 1 which will conclude on December 15.
As part of the drive, a rally was organised today from Games Village to Bhetapara Chowk. Dr PM Kabui, Commandant (medical), Dr KK Singh (veterinary) and other officers and employees of Frontier Headquarters, SSB participated in the programme.
During the rally, a message was conveyed to the surrounding public about the difficulties and diseases arising due to the increasing effects of polythene and plastic. Awareness was also sought to be created through banners and posters to avoid single-use plastic and keep the surroundings clean to maintain an eco-friendly environment.
