GUWAHATI, Sept 22 - Indian Skills Academy today conducted a cleanliness and awareness campaign on the streets of Guwahati.

Guwahati Municipal Corporation Commissioner Monalisa Goswami also attended the occasion and lauded the initiative of involving the students of Indian Skills Academy in the campaign.

The campaign titled �Clean Guwahati Campaign�, started off from the Lakhtokia GMC office. The students and staff members of the academy continued with the cleanliness campaign supported by the GMC support staff, cleaners and officials. The drive culminated at the GMC Commissioner�s office.

The students also interacted with the shopkeepers, making them aware about the importance of having dustbins in front of their outlets and keeping the city clean.
