KOKRAJHAR, April 22 - Along with the rest of the State, the 10th Civil Service Day was also observed here on Thursday. The day was centrally observed at the conference hall of the Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner.
A programme was held in this connection, which was presided over by Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner MP Sharma. Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police SP Saikia and other departmental heads also attended the programme.
Dr Chinmoy Bhattacharjee, assistant professor, Government College, Kokrajhar, attended the programme as the guest lecturer and delivered a speech on the importance of the Civil Service Day with a Power Point presentation.
The Civil Service Day was also observed at the Kachugaon Block Development Office.
