City school�s Brass Band team for R-Day parade

GUWAHATI, Dec 27 - The Brass Band team of Bengtal Don Bosco Higher Secondary School left for Delhi today to participate in the ensuing Republic Day functions under the command of Col Javinder Singh of 1st Assam Bn NCC.

Guwhati Police Commissioner Hiren Nath saw them off at the Guwahati Railway Station this morning before their departure and wished them luck.

Father Siby John, principal of the school was also present at the railway station. Hira Narzary is the teacher in charge of the team.

The team underwent 10 days� training at the Narangi Army camp. It will undergo further conditioning and other training in Delhi for 20 days before final participation.
