City roads being repaired

GUWAHATI, July 22 - Work on some roads in Guwahati has been undertaken in recent years under different projects, the State Government said today, adding that while some of the works have been completed, others are progressing well. In a written reply to a question by AGP MLA Ramendra Narayan Kalita in the Assembly today, PWD Minister Parimal Suklabaidya said that 78 per cent of the work relating to the improvement of Guwahati-Fatasil Road and construction of footpath-cum-drain has been completed. Besides, over 90 per cent of the work on various stretches of Guwahati-Garbhanga Road has been completed.
