GUWAHATI, April 4 - Guwahati Refinery�s initiative to empower the underprivileged � Grief & U � as part of its annual one-time monetary help to meritorious students, distributed cheques to 34 beneficiaries on Saturday. Among them were physically-challenged students, a release said.

DC Baishya, former Principal of B Borooah College, attended the occasion as the chief guest. He exhorted the students and teachers to continue their studies and pursue higher studies. Mamoni Basumatary, secretary, presented the secretariat report and DK Sarma, president, shared information about Grief & U�s planning for future activities.
