GUWAHATI, Aug 8 � City Police recorded a 5-0 victory against Rising XI in a GSA A Division Football League encounter at the Nehru Stadium here today.
The Rising boys, who earlier performed creditably, were in poor form and left enough space in the striking zone and gave easy passage to the Police attackers.
Robin Boro was the star of the day as he alone pumped in as many as four goals.
Making good combination with Ajoy Basumatary, who netted one, Robing tore apart the Rising defence and scored almost at will.
