City entrepreneurs attend biz summit in Singapore

GUWAHATI, Sept 13 - Three entrepreneurs from Guwahati attended an event �India-Singapore: The Next Phase� � the first international business and innovation summit on India organised by the High Commission of India in Singapore on September 9-10 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, stated a press release here today.

Satyam Sarma, co-founder of All Pro Auto Consultants, which is working on providing business solutions to the automotive industry in the North East; Rajeev Saikia, managing director of RD Grow Green India Pvt Ltd, which is working on purification of water contaminated with arsenic, fluoride, etc., and Dipankar Choudhary, a consultant in the construction industry � all from Assam, attended this summit.

The summit focused on areas like the financial sector, infrastructure, urban development, real estate, logistics, regional trade, agro-tech and food processing, water and skills development.

Jawed Ashraf, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, External Affairs ministers of India and Singapore, Dr S Jaishankar and Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, and Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of State for Housing, Urban Affiars, Civil Aviation and Commerce and Industry, attended the business summit.

The press release stated that All Pro Auto Consultants was one of the first start-ups selected officially in June 2019 by the Assam Start-up Incubation Centre, Government of Assam.

Satyam Sarma of All Pro Auto Consultants said his start-up was at present working with companies like Maruti Suzuki, Ford India, Yamaha Motor India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd across 20 locations on inventory management, data analytics and manpower training in area of sales, after-sales and spare parts.
