City college to host GU youth fest

GUWAHATI, Aug 21 - The city based Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College will host the Gauhati University Inter-college Zonal Youth Festival, 2017 from September 7 to 9.

Stating this in a release, the principal of the college, Dr Sikhamoni Konwar revealed that the GU Sports Council has given the responsibility to the college to organise the three-day festival where only the regular graduate and post-graduate students from the colleges of Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup and Morigaon districts, affiliated to the Gauhati University Sports Council can participate.
