GUWAHATI, April 17 - Cricket Club of Dibrugarh Academy entered the final of the 13th All Assam Golap Hazarika Memorial U-17 Inter District Cricket Coaching Centre/Academy Cricket Tournament, organised by the City Cricket Coaching Centre.
In the close second semifinal played at the Dispur Parade Ground today, the Dibrugarh boys edged past Kokrajhar by one run.
Batting first Dibrugarh team scored 152 losing all the wickets in 33.5 overs. Man-of-the-match Dibakar Saikia was their leading scorer with 65 off 56 balls. He hit eight boundaries and two sixes.
The Kokrajhar boys made a hot chase but fell just one run short as they were all out for 151 in 33.3 overs.
