GUWAHATI, April 25 - Host City Cricket Club (A) set up summit clash with Metro Sports Club in the 3rd Golap Hazarika and Arati Hazarika T-20 Cricket Tournament.

In the second semifinal at the Judges Field here today, City CC (A) edged past Gauhati Town Club (GTC) by 16 runs.

Being asked to bat first, City were all out for 157 in the allotted overs as Kalyan Gogoi and Rahul Hazarika were the leading contributors with 31 and 30 respectively. Nayanjyoti Deka and Amit Das grabbed four and three wickets respectively for GTC.

But the target seemed to be too tall for the GTC batsmen as despite making a cautious start they managed to gather 141 for the loss of four wickets. Man-of-the-match Nipon Deka bowled brilliantly to take two GTC wickets giving away 19 runs.

The final has been slated for April 27.
