JALUKBARI, June 28 - The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) today apologised for the strip-search conducted by a CISF lady sub-inspector on a pregnant woman at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport recently, agreeing that a thorough pat-down search in the frisking booth would have been sufficient.

Taking cognizance of the Twitter message posted by the victim�s husband, the CISF, in a statement, expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the couple and stated that the CISF lady sub-inspector has since been transferred from the screening duty to training. The CISF also assured that the matter will be enquired thoroughly.
