GUWAHATI, Dec 15 - Like every year, Guwahati Baptist Church at Panbazar is going to celebrate Christmas and the New Year in a befitting manner this year also, stated a press release.

The celebration of Christmas began today with house-to-house carolling by the youths of the Church. The Christmas eve service will be held on December 24 at 5 pm wherein a drama on the birth of Jesus will be staged by the students of Nichols Higher Secondary School.

Christmas service will be held on December 25 at 9.15 a.m., to be followed by a special musical programme at 4 p.m. Tony Marak from Shillong will be the guest speaker at the Christmas service programme.

There will also be annual sports followed by community feast on December 26 on the Nichols School premises at Satribari.

Watch night service will be held on December 31 at 11 p.m. and New Year�s Day service on January 1 at 9.30 a.m., added the release.
