DIMAPUR, June 3 � Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited has launched its 11-seater �Dauphin� helicopter service in Nagaland.
Pawan Hans will be running the chopper services from June 1 till October 31 this year as per an agreement between the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Government of Nagaland, Pawan Hans sources said.
Nagaland State Transport General Manager Senti Pongener formally launched the chopper service at Dimapur Airport in presence of Captain Ajay Srivastava, DGM, Operations (Pawan Hans).
Sanjay Kumar, General Manager, Pawan Hans, Eastern Region, informed that that the company would provide choppers even at night, in cases of emergency, with well-trained pilots at any given time. Pawan Hans operates chopper services to State Governments of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim, Mizoram and Nagaland.
