NEW DELHI, Aug 28 - China has reluctantly conceded resolution of the Doklam crisis stating that Beijing attaches great importance to developing good neighbourly relations with India.
Official spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China will continue to exercise its sovereign rights and maintain territorial sovereignty in accordance with the provisions of the historical conventions.
�We hope that India will earnestly abide by the historical principles and the basic principles of international law and work with China to safeguard peace and tranquillity in the border areas and promote healthy development of bilateral relations on the basis of mutual respect for territorial sovereignty,� the spokesperson said.
