GUWAHATI, May 1 � The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Assam Pradesh has strongly condemned the bomb blast in the Guwahati-Bangalore train at the busy Chennai Central Railway Station this morning. The Parishad has demanded an inquiry into the incident and exemplary punishment for the perpetrators of the crime that left one dead and 14 others injured.
Extending its solidarity to the victims, the Parishad has also insisted that the government provides adequate compensation and free medical treatment to all the injured.
It needs to be mentioned here that the Parishad has set up several help line numbers for any kind of assistance. The Parishad has requested the Government of Assam to take the requisite measures to help the passengers and bring them back safely to the State.
