GUWAHATI, Aug 25 � Chaygaon Janajatiya Sangha entered the third round of the Brihattar Beltola Krira Bikash Samittee organised Jayram Medhi and Lagun Kro Trophy North East Football Championship. In a second round match of the championship, played at the Sarusajai sports complex here today, the Chaygaon boys drubbed Nabajyoti Sangha, Bangoan by a clear margin of 3-0 goals.
Chaygaon team went ahead in the 12th minute through a self goal. Rupjyoti Rabha and Anup Rabha netted one goal each in the 23rd and 39th minutes respectively. Before start of the match, the organisers felicitated Dipul Boro who won three gold medals in the recently concluded World Police Archery Championship.
