TIHU, Oct 2 - Charonthai Sports Club of Barimakha defeated SMS United FC of Dhubri 2-0 goal to lift the Tarun Dutta, Satish Haloi and Madan Sarma football championship title at the Makhibaha HS School playground today.
Mahon Daimary of Charonthai Club was adjudged the best player of the final match while Jawndao Baro of Charonthai was the highest scorer in the tournament.
Earlier, the final match was inaugurated by Pabindra Deka, MLA of Patacharkuchi constituency. The tournament was organised by Makhibaha Krira Sangha.
