IMPHAL, Aug 30 � Hectic preparations are on for a charity football match between Shillong Lajong and Manipur Arambai XI at the Khuman Lampak sports complex here. The charity match which will be played on September 5, is being specially organised for the welfare of the Wafa Arambai Football Academy.
Shillong Lajong, comprising 25 players including Cornell Glen of Trinidad and Tobago (World Cup players), Taisuke Matugae of Japan (Japanese I-League) and Min Chon Son of Korea, (J-League player), would be arriving here on September 2. Subash, Milan Tuboi, Boithang, Angousana, Bipin, Jibon and Sandip from Manipur would play in the Shillong Lajong team.
