GUWAHATI, May 8 - Cluster of Stars, a charitable trust of Guwahati, has within one year of its inception, shifted its hostel to a new campus with several additional amenities.
Anand Kumar Jain, businessman and philanthropist, inaugurated the new hostel and office campus at Adabari Tiniali here recently.
The hostel has provisions like library, playroom, computer lab, well-furnished dormitory, etc.
The charitable trust provides scholarship for free boarding, clothing, food and education in reputed schools here to talented children of North-east.
Last year, it provided scholarship to five students, but this year it has been increased to seven. These scholarships are provided to talented students from among those who appear in the entrance test.
At present there are 12 students who will be staying in the new hostel.
