GUWAHATI, Oct 31 � The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today submitted chargesheet into the May 2, 2014 Baksa killings with the Court of Special Judge, NIA.
The Baksa mass murder had accounted for 36 lives.
The case was initially registered under Gobardhana Police Station and was later handed over to the NIA.
Those chargesheeted are Rajen Boro, Jayanta Boro, Mallajit Kherkatari and Nijam Basumatary. All the four are Forest Department employees of which two are currently in judicial custody.
Several sections of IPC and Unlawful Activities (prevention) Act were attributed on the accused.
