GUWAHATI, March 21 - Charan Chandra Deka, a central executive member of the Asom Gana Parishad has resigned from the primary membership of the party.
Deka was the former secretary of the Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP).
In his resignation letter stated that the party betrayed the people of Assam by renewing its alliance with the BJP.
