MANGALDAI, July 8 - Chandan Boro, a class VI student of North Harisinga LP School has been selected to undergo a six-year football training in Bittburg, Germany.
The selection camp was organised at Kokrajhar in the last month by the Tata Trust, Mumbai under the Football Development Program in partnership with U Sports Mumbai and Germany under U Dream Football for selection of budding U-15 football talents.
The aim of the scheme is to identify football talents at an early stage and to impart them the training at international level. Chandan will leave for Germany in August.
