GANGTOK, July 26 � The Chairman of the State Administrative Reforms Commission K Sreedhar Rao has presented his report on reforms in the State�s administration to Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.
The SARC was constituted in June 2009 and was mandated to study the present processes, procedures and practices and the state of preparedness of the administrative machinery to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow as also to chart out development objectives.
Rao said the Commission has recommended a number of measures which will enable the State to discharge its responsibilities and deliver the services to the people with much greater speed and in a citizen-friendly manner. � PTI
