GUWAHATI, July 31 - The Assam Cricket Association organised Challenger Trophy cricket tournament among the senior team probables got underway at the Judges� Field here and at DN Singha Stadium in Goalpara today.
On the opening day of the two-day matches, at the judges� field, put into bat, Green A team scored 215 for two against Red while at Goalpara in reply to Blue A�s 151 all out, Red team was tottering at 82 for four.
Brief scores: Green A 215/2 (Sunzow Brahma 84, Vishal Roy 26, Sarupam Purkayastha 40).
Blue A 151 (Riyan Parag 35, Ramiz Rabani 32, Diptesh Saha 30; Sidhartha Sarma 6/35). Red 82/4 (Bishal Saha 30; Amlanjyoti Das 2/19).
