By Correspondent

MORIGAON, April 7 - Pro talk ULFA leader Anup Chetia expressed concern over the apathetic attitude of the Central Government in the peace talk process with the ULFA. ULFA leader Chetia after attending the general meeting of the pro talk ULFA cadres here at Morigaon expressed his feelings before the media and said that even the talks with Paresh Boruah group of ULFA is also possible if the Central Government come forward honestly.

Chetia said that dialogue cannot be a one way traffic and environment of dialogue should be created by the Government side. Referring to the proposed settlement of Hindu Bangladeshis in Assam, Chetia said that the issue was completely political agenda of the BJP Government. Not a single Hindu Bangladeshi family is willing to come to Assam when much hullabaloo is going on about the proposed amendment of the Citizenship Act in India, added Chetia. The issue is being politicised by several forces, he added. Regarding the Subodh Biswas episode, Chetia said that any anti-Assam move must be opposed by the people of Assam unitedly.
