GUWAHATI, Sept 16 - The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) today alleged that Central and State governments betrayed the people of Assam on the issue of implementation of Clause 6 of the Assam Accord.
In a release here, Dipanka Kumar Nath and Lurinjyoti Gogoi, president and general secretary respectively of the AASU, said, �Union Minister of State for Home today admitted in the Parliament that the Centre is yet to receive the Report of the Committee formed by the Union Home Ministry to suggest measures for implementation of Clause 6 of the Assam Accord.�
