GUWAHATI, April 1 - Following the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Ministry for Heavy Industries and Public Sector Enterprises yesterday released three months� salaries of the employees of Nagaon Paper Mill at Jagiroad and Cachar Paper Mill at Panchgram. The Union ministry released the fund to the Hindustan Paper Mills Corporation required for paying the three months� salaries of the employees working in the two paper mills of the State.
In a statement, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal thanked Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Sector Enterprises Anand G Geete for this gesture.
