GUWAHATI, Feb 14 � Central Zone emerged winners in the Women�s Inter Zonal U-19 Cricket Tournament pushing South Zone to the second spot.
In the final round robin league match of the championship at the NF Railway Stadium here South gained three points against East Zone with a 101-run first innings lead. In reply to South�s 169, East were all out for 68. After being forced to follow on East were 99 for four when the match was called off declaring it a draw.
At the Barsapara stadium, champion Central Zone bagged three points against West Zone as the match ended in a draw. In reply to Central�s first innings total of 148, West scored 132.
