GUWAHATI, Oct 26 � South Point School, Guwahati will be hosting the CBSE East Zone ( Cluster-I ) Football Championship at the Sports Authority of India ground at Paltan Bazar here from tomorrow.
Altogether 37 School from all the North East States will be participating in the championship.
Gilbertson Sangma, eminent footballer and Sanjib Das, regional officer, CBSE, Guwahati will be present in the opening ceremony tomorrow as guests.
Officials from District Sports Office, Kamrup will officiate the matches and the champion and runners up teams will qualify to take part in the national level of the championship at Anand, Gujrat, a release said.
