CBSE Class X results declared

GUWAHATI, May 6 - The Guwahati region, comprising the North Eastern states, registered an overall pass percentage of 74.49 per cent in the Class X examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The results of the Class X examinations were declared today.

The pass percentage among boys was 74.61 per cent and among girls was 74.36 per cent.

A total of 63,238 students had appeared in the examination from the Guwahati Region.

The pass percentage in the Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) of the region was 98.47 per cent, while it stood at 95.13 per cent in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) and at 92.73 per cent in the Independent schools. In Government schools, the pass percentage stood at 52.67 per cent.

There were a total of 337 examination centres in the Guwahati region.
