DIBRUGARH, Nov 28 - Two bike-borne robbers looted Rs 4.66 lakhs from one Paban Duarah on PN Road near Gyan Dayini in broad daylight here this afternoon.
Duarah had withdrawn the amount from Punjab National Bank and was returning home in a motorcycle. The unidentified robbers reportedly used a black Pulsar motorcycle that had no number plate. After snatching the bag containing cash, the robbers fled towards Chowkidinghee. Duarah sustained injuries on his hands as the miscreants forcibly snatched the bag from him. Unruly bikers and sundry crimes are on the rise in Dibrugarh, calling for increased police patrolling in the city.
