JALUKBARI, July 3 - In a new twist to the sensational robbery incident at Green Park Colony, Maligaon that took place on Sunday, it has come to light that it was a planned one and the caretaker of the house was the real brain behind the crime.
According to sources, the caretaker, Choudhury Mondal, has confessed before the police that he was the actual instigator behind the robbery and in fact, had led the robbers into the house.
Initially in the evening, he led two of the robbers into the house and later at midnight the other two robbers were led in by him.
Sources said that the five men � including the caretaker � looted the valuables till 4 am. In the morning just before escaping, the four robbers tied up the caretaker to make it look like he was innocent.
It may be recalled that a four-member team of dacoits had entered the premises of Suresh Poddar on Sunday night when the whole family was out of the city, and only the caretaker was at home.
