SILCHAR, March 15 - The State Bank of India (SBI) launched cardless transaction facility at its ATMs here via its latest service You Only Need One (YONO).
The first YONO enabled ATM at Ukilpatty was ceremoniously opened by Bejoy Kumar Kujur, DGM, Business and Operations, SBI, Silchar Module.
Speaking to the media after making transactions in the ATM, Kujur said, �This is by far the safe and secure means of transaction and people can avail the services by downloading the latest version of YONO app from Google Play Store. The OTP is available for 30 minutes for making transactions after which the term will expire. I feel with this, instances of fraudulent activities can be checked to a significant degree.�
Officials and staff of the bank attended the inauguration programme with great enthusiasm.
