DIBRUGARH, June 16 - Police today seized 12 adult goats from the clutches of alleged cattle lifters at Amollapatty here. The goats were being carried in an IKON car (AS 01 J 6062).
The goats inside the car were spotted by traffic police near Amollapatty, who later seized the vehicle along with the goats with the local police. The vehicle was coming to the town from Moran end.
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape during the seizure. However, three persons were held from inside the car. Those held by the police include Saifuddin Ahmed of Paanchali, Asif Ali of Naliapool and Raju Singh of Koilaghat area.
