GUWAHATI, Sept 24 - A �Bring Your Own Bag� campaign was conducted today by Rotaract Club of Guwahati Luit with thrust on awareness generation on the ills of plastic bags.
Non-woven bags along with craft paper bags were distributed by the organisation on the occasion, a press release said. The campaign started at Fancy Bazar early morning.
�The project will take place in different phases and the organisation will also try to engage Guwahati Municipal Corporation and other authorities of the city in the campaign,� Saurav Jhunjhunwala, president of Rotaract Club of Guwahati Luit, said.
