SILCHAR, Nov 26 - The Silchar Veteran Cricketers Club (SVCC) will organise a camp for budding pace bowlers here.
Niranjan Das, general secretary of the club informed the media on Wednesday that this would be the first of its kind camp for the speedsters of the town. The camp will be held from November 28 to December 7 and former Ranji player from Barpeta, Javed Khan, will train the bowlers.
�Silchar DSA has assisted us with a list of 35 players who are a part of the association�s U-13, U-16 and senior district team. There are eight players from the U-13 category, 11 from U-16 and 11 from U-19 and five players from the senior team who will join the camp. The camp will be held at the SM Dev Stadium in two sessions and the players would be given t-shirts and refreshments during the sessions,� Das said.
