GUWAHATI, July 24 - Accusing the State government of perpetuating a corruption-riddled appointment process at the behest of a vested interest and corrupt coterie of government officials, ministers and MLAs, the All Assam Unemployed Association today demanded an inquiry by the Chief Secretary into the alleged cases of corruption-riddled appointments.
The association also said pending submission of the inquiry findings, the government should keep in abeyance the appointment process.
