SILCHAR, Sept 15 - The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Cachar District S N Singh passed away at a hospital in Guwahati on Friday. He was 59.
He is survived by his wife Lakhitan Singh and two sons.
It is learnt that Singh was hospitalised on August 31 and was shifted to Guwahati for better treatment on September 1. Singh was also the Chief Executive Officer of Cachar Zila Parishad.
On the other hand, officials and staff of Cachar district administration have mourned the sudden demise of the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
